He has recently returned from London, after fulfilling a contract with the Southbank Sinfonia; performing in many major UK venues including, among many others, Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Opera House. Timothy is currently the percussionist for the Sydney run of Disney’s “Aladdin” at the Capitol theatre, and has played professional musical theatre productions previously in Australia and in the UK including “Les Miserables” and “The Sound of Music”. As an educator, Timothy has tutored at The Arts Unit NSW, including at state music camps; and at Barker College music department, amongst others. He currently tutors at Scot’s College and at The Conservatorium High School. Critics have lauded him as a “true artist” with “an excellent technique” who “isn’t afraid to put a distinctive stamp on whatever he touches, without resorting to mannerism.” A top prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions, including first prize in the Joaquín Rodrigo Competition in Madrid, Dr. Neeman has appeared as a soloist with the Prague Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Melbourne Symphony, Kentucky Symphony, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, and the American West Symphony among others. Dr. Neeman’s debut album, Rachmaninoff & Sitsky, was released to wide acclaim in March 2016. An enthusiastic collaborative artist, he has performed with musicians including Itamar Zorman, Abigail Fischer, Ben Capps, and members of the JACK quartet.
